What We Install
Smart switches — We install smart switches (single-pole and multi-way) from any brand you supply. Many smart switches require a neutral wire — we’ll assess your existing wiring and tell you what’s needed. If your switches don’t have a neutral, we have solutions.
Smart outlets — Smart outlets with USB charging, metering, or remote control capability. We install the outlet and ensure the circuit is appropriate for the intended load.
Smart thermostat wiring — Many older Connecticut homes with older HVAC systems lack a C-wire, which most smart thermostats require. We run the C-wire or install an appropriate add-on where the wiring doesn’t support it.
Dedicated circuits for home automation — Hubs, servers, routers, and smart panels benefit from dedicated circuits with clean power and appropriate outlet configurations. We install dedicated circuits for any home automation hardware.
Programming Assistance: Case-by-Case
We assist with device programming and setup on a case-by-case basis. If you need help getting your smart switches or smart outlets configured after installation, ask — we’ll let you know whether it’s within what we can offer for your specific system. We never guarantee full programming support, but we don’t leave you without options either.
